Just realized my $12 travel towel was a total waste of money
Brought it to Costa Rica and it never fully dried between uses, so it just got gross and heavy... what's a better budget option that actually works?

Ugh, been there. My cheap towel got so musty I just used hotel hand towels instead.

Yeah, that mildew smell is the worst. Happened to my last set from a big box store. Switched to the quick-dry kind from the camping section. Stays way fresher between washes.

Actually, @ray_wilson, the fabric itself might be the real problem. Some cheaper towels just trap moisture inside the fibers no matter what. A good vinegar soak can sometimes reset them.
