Tried Dollar Store scrubbers vs. Scotch-Brite for bathroom tile grout. Night and day.
Last weekend I finally got tired of looking at dingy grout in my shower and decided to deep clean it. I usually grab the cheap scrub brushes from the Dollar Tree because they're like a dollar and seem fine. But after 20 minutes of scrubbing one small section with almost no results, I grabbed my wife's Scotch-Brite heavy duty scrub sponge from under the sink. That thing cut through the soap scum and mildew in half the time with way less elbow grease. I spent 8 bucks on a 3-pack of those sponges and it beat the heck out of the dollar stuff. The Dollar Store ones just flex and don't actually dig into the grout lines. Has anyone else found that paying a little more for cleaning tools actually saves you money in the long run?
