Found a local guy in Dayton who fixes cracked phone screens for $30 flat
He did mine last month in his garage and it works perfect. Anyone know other good deals like that for small electronics?

That $30 garage fix is the way to go. I found a guy who does console controller repairs for like $20, just cleans them out and fixes sticky buttons. For old tablets or laptops, sometimes you can find a tech student at the community college who will do it cheap for practice. Just ask to see their past work first.

How do you even find these local repair guys? I tried looking online and just got a bunch of big chain stores with high prices. Is it all word of mouth?
