Just had the worst Tuesday ever after I wore sandals to the grocery store

Last week I ran out to the store real quick in my flip flops since it was just milk and bread. But halfway through the aisle my toe caught a loose tile and I stubbed it so hard I dropped my cart and yelled out loud. The cashier asked if I was okay and three old ladies just stared at me like I was a public freak. Has anyone else had a random day spiral because of something as dumb as shoes?

You know what, that sounds awful, but it reminds me of something that happened to my buddy Steve? He was running into a gas station for a energy drink, wearing those cheap foam flip flops, and he slipped on a wet spot right by the door. His feet flew up and he landed flat on his back with the drink exploding all over the place. The guy at the counter just pointed and laughed, and Steve had to drive home soaking wet and embarrassed. He swears he only wears real shoes now, even if it's just for a two minute trip.

oh man that's brutal but hilarious. I did basically the same thing at a 7-Eleven once, flew up like a cartoon character and landed on my back with a pack of Twix flying out of my hand.
