That's the best kind of find, when the old stuff just works. My shop's daily driver is an 87 from the 90s that looks like it went through a war. Those things are basically indestructible if the display is still good. For leads, I've had good luck with the basic Pomona replacements, they fit the old jacks right and don't feel cheap. Just avoid the no-name junk on auction sites, the tips never fit snug.
