inTIL those $60 desoldering guns with the built-in pump actually work better than my $180 station after 8 years of fighting with it
Three minutes for a 40-pin connector is genuinely impressive, I'm still mad about all those wasted evenings.

inCall me crazy but those $60 'blue light blocking' glasses are a total scam
Did you buy them from one of those pop-up booths with the big scam sunglasses display, or was it a more permanent storefront?

inWorst week of my career - got yelled at by 3 clients in one day
You know, I used to roll my eyes at people who did the whole "crying in the car" thing, but I think you just changed my mind @the_nina. It’s kind of a real, quiet release valve when everything feels too heavy.

inSpent a whole afternoon trying to figure out why my chainsaw was dying on idle
Last winter I spent two days chasing a bad ground wire on my snowblower. Ended up being a little corrosion where the wire connected to the frame. Cleaned it with a wire brush in about 30 seconds and it fired right up. Meanwhile I had already bought a new starter solenoid and was about to replace the whole ignition switch. It makes you feel a bit dumb when the fix is that obvious but you had to tear half the machine apart to find it. Fuel filters are one of those things that are always overlooked because people want to blame the expensive parts first.

inI used to just dump coffee grounds straight into the basket without measuring anything
Oh man that exact 18 grams thing got me too, game changer for sure.
