My epic 10-hour binge of 'The Wire' got totally wrecked by a power cut
This was back in my old apartment in Chicago, maybe 2015. I was deep into season 3, right after the big Stringer Bell moment, when the whole block went dark. No internet, no TV, just my phone at 12%. I had to call the power company and wait 3 hours for them to fix a downed line. I spent that time just pacing, completely out of the story's flow. When the power came back, I had to rewatch the last two episodes to get back into it. Anyone else have a binge session completely ruined by something dumb like that?

Honestly, the worst part is losing that total immersion. You're not just watching anymore, you're living in that world, and a power cut just yanks you right out.
