Hot take: Stranger Things season 3 is WAY better than season 1
I know EVERYONE worships season 1 for its creepy mystery vibe. But after rewatching both last month, season 3 just has way more fun energy and actual payoff. The mall setting with the Russian stuff makes it feel like a big summer blockbuster rather than a slow burn horror. Season 1 drags in the middle, especially around episode 4 with all the searching. Season 3 gives us that awesome sauna fight and the Scoops Troop dynamic. Am I the only one who prefers the over the top action over the quiet spooky stuff?
