My pork shoulder stalled for 8 hours on the smoker yesterday

I wrapped it in butcher paper and bumped the temp up to 275, which finally got it moving. Anyone have a better method for pushing through a stubborn stall?

That's the classic move right there. Had one last month that just would not budge past 160 for what felt like forever. Sometimes you just gotta give up on the bark and wrap it to get it done.

Yeah the wrap is a lifesaver when it stalls like that. @evan_campbell I found if you spritz a little apple juice in there after wrapping, it can help push through that last bit without burning.
