TIL my first barber still uses the same shears from 1978

They work perfect after all these years. Now I go through a pair every six months.

Are new ones really that bad?

Totally depends on the model. I always look up common issues online first.

Honestly, I've had new models with zero issues, so is it really that big a deal!
