My old Wahl clipper just gave out mid-fade yesterday
I was working on a regular's skin fade, about halfway through blending the sides. The motor just got really quiet and then stopped. I had to grab my backup pair to finish the cut, which threw off my whole rhythm. It was a model I've had for almost 5 years, guess it was just its time. What's a good reliable clipper you guys would switch to for daily use?

Read a barber forum thread where a bunch of people were swearing by Oster fast feeds for heavy daily use. They said the motor holds up better than a lot of the newer plastic models. My cousin uses them in his shop and hasn't had to replace them in years, just changes the blades. Seems like the old school metal build might be worth the extra cash if you're doing skin fades all day.
