Can we talk about the ATM I saw at the gas station on 5th and Maple

I was getting gas yesterday and the card reader on the machine looked like it had been messed with... the plastic around the slot was loose and the keypad felt weirdly thick, which makes me think it might have a skimmer on it.

Honestly that's probably just a beat up old machine. Those keypads get sticky and the plastic warps from the sun. I'd only worry if the whole thing was a different color or something.

Beat up old machine" is a nice way to put it. That thing looks like it's been through a war and lost. The plastic isn't just warped, it's melting off like bad cheese. If you use that ATM, your card info is probably getting sent directly to a guy in a basement with a laptop. I'd go to a real bank.

Yikes, that's scary. My buddy used a sketchy ATM at a gas station once and his card got cloned. Dude bought like three game consoles before the bank shut it down. Took him weeks to get his money back.
