A heated debate about pineapple on pizza cost me a friendship back in 2018
I was at a party in Denver and this guy said anyone who likes pineapple on pizza doesn't respect food. I argued back for 20 minutes about how acidity cuts through grease. He got real quiet and left early. Next day he texted me saying we couldn't hang out anymore because our values didn't match. Still think it was a dumb reason to end a friendship, but whatever. Has anyone else lost a friend over something this silly?

Man, I once lost a gaming buddy because he insisted ketchup doesn't belong on hot dogs. Guess my values just aren't American enough.

Did you catch that study about taste preferences being linked to personality traits?

Ha, @samwalker brings up a good point but I bet that study didn't say ketchup on hot dogs is a personality flaw.
