inMy wife and I started writing down every money worry on a sticky note before bed.
Yeah, that's how you make it feel normal, right?

inI was wrong about using spikes for a simple prune job
Hold on, the rule change was in 2019, not 2022. They made it an offense to play in a dangerous manner if you raise your foot near a keeper's hands. You're right that it changed the risk, but the coaching point about only using spikes to clear a loose ball started years earlier. The 2019 clarification just made it an automatic call.

inCan we talk about how people keep pushing the 'no permit needed' thing for the Enchantments?
Wasn't there a whole article about this in the local paper last year?

inSerious question, three years ago I had a guy in the shop who swore by hand sanding for final prep, but last month we hired a new guy who only uses the DA sander. Which way gets a better finish?
Serious question? That depends entirely on the panel and the paint you're using.

inHad to choose between two different brushes for a tight flue in an old house in Savannah
Oh man, that whip brush is a lifesaver for those old flues. @terry_thomas is totally right about using the right tool, but I gotta say, I never even start with a poly brush on the really narrow ones anymore. It's just asking for a headache. The whip bends around all the old uneven brickwork and gets the job done fast. Learned that lesson the hard way a few years back.
