inA customer told me my sourdough crust was too tough to chew
My last loaf had a crust you could use for armor. @nina_johnson86 is right, I definitely need more steam.

inJust blew $200 on a 'guaranteed' Roman coin that turned out to be a bad cast replica
Actually handled a fake denarius last month that felt right but was totally wrong. The patina was painted on and the weight was off by a few grams. Plastic prints won't fool you like a good fake can.

inThat week in 2012 when we had to rewire an entire 1920s theater in Bellingham with the original cloth insulation still in place.
Remember the part where the old knob and tube wiring was held together with literal newspaper and hope? We spent two days just gently taping it back together every time we bumped a joist. The whole crew developed this weird, tiptoe walk that week.

inWarning: My old boss in Portland got fired over a 10-year-old tweet that was just a bad joke.
I used to think people should just own their old online posts. Then a guy at my last job, Mark, got let go over a dumb forum comment from 2007. It was just some edgy gaming talk, but HR said it broke their new social media rules. Seeing a good engineer get canned over ancient history made me realize how unfair it is.

inSpent $250 on a 'life coach' and it was the worst money I ever wasted
Isn't the real problem that we're paying for a friend? A good friend would listen and maybe point you to a free article, but they wouldn't charge you for it. These services sell the idea of a shortcut when most real change just takes boring, slow work. Maybe we're all just lonely and want someone to check in on our goals.
