inWatching my kid's school roll out AI tutors left me uneasy
My cousin's kid in Florida started using an AI math tutor last year, and I was totally against it at first. But after seeing how it gives him harder problems when he gets something right, and breaks it down step by step when he struggles, I get it now. It doesn't do the work for him, it just meets him where he's at. That kind of adjustment is what a good teacher would do if they had unlimited time.

inMy puffy sleeve design fell apart with light interfacing
Ugh, I feel your pain. I tried light interfacing on a puff sleeve project and it went totally limp. For that much fabric, you really need a stiffer kind, like medium weight at least. I learned to cut a small square of my fashion fabric and fuse different interfacings to see how they hold. Sometimes the cheap option ends up costing more when you have to redo the whole thing.

inTried to impress with homemade gnocchi, now I miss takeout pizza dates
Exactly. Like that time my friends and I tried to make pizza from scratch and flour ended up everywhere. Cheese on the ceiling, sauce splatters on the wall. We still talk about that disaster years later. The perfect pizza we ordered after? Totally forgot it. @terrymorgan is onto something, the messed up stuff makes the best memories.

inThe rush to use drones underwater is MAKING us lazy divers
Actually, I was all for drones making inspections easier... thought they were a game-changer. But after watching a team gloss over cracks on video... it showed how easy it is to get lazy with tech. Now I see Charlie's point... losing that dive time might cost us more than we save.
