My puffy sleeve design fell apart with light interfacing
I designed a blouse with big puffy sleeves. Used light interfacing to save cash. Big mistake. The sleeves lost shape after one wear. The whole piece was trash. Now I test interfacing on scrap fabric first. Don't make my error.

Ugh, I feel your pain. I tried light interfacing on a puff sleeve project and it went totally limp. For that much fabric, you really need a stiffer kind, like medium weight at least. I learned to cut a small square of my fashion fabric and fuse different interfacings to see how they hold. Sometimes the cheap option ends up costing more when you have to redo the whole thing.

Cheap option costing more? Learned that the hard way too.

Hey, isn't it more about the fabric type than how much you use? Light interfacing can work for puff sleeves if you want them less stiff. Maybe just check how it hangs before you commit?
