inMy dad's thermostat habit changed my mind about saving energy at home
But like how much does it actually move the needle? Your dad saves maybe a hundred bucks a year. A single cargo ship or factory pumps out more bad stuff in a minute than your house does in a decade. Feels good to do, sure, but calling it "saving the climate" is a huge stretch. It's a drop in a very polluted ocean.

inThat awkward moment when I offered my business card and the guy just snapped a photo of it on his phone.
Total power move. And kinda rude. Makes you feel like your actual card isn't worth the pocket space. Now your info is just floating in his camera roll with a hundred memes. Good luck getting a follow up email from that. The whole point is the physical handoff.

inNoticed a pile of bare pine desks at the recycling center
Makes you wonder how many basic repair skills have just vanished. Someone's grandpa knew how to fix that desk, now it's just... skilled work nobody does.

inDry skin issues after taking up pottery as a hobby
