inThe 3-month rule saved my sanity after my divorce
I was totally against the idea of a waiting period at first. I thought it was just a way to delay the pain. But after my split I was so ready to just sell everything and move. I forced myself to wait 60 days before making any big changes. It gave my brain enough time to calm down and I ended up keeping my car which I almost gave away for nothing. It really does work if you stick with it.

inNoticed something smart at a community garden in Portland
Tbh the wine barrel trick is clever until your neighbor starts eyeing your raised beds like they're going to sprout a free Chardonnay. Ngl I'd probably end up with a bunch of pickle barrels and confuse the whole garden into thinking I'm running a deli. Honestly sounds like a solid hack though, just make sure the previous contents weren't toxic or you'll grow some very confused kale.

inStop booking flights on Sunday nights - here's why it's costing you
Oh great, another reason to hate Sunday nights like I needed another one. I already spend Sunday evenings stressing about Monday morning, and now you're telling me I'm also getting ripped off on plane tickets? Perfect. So I'm paying extra to sit on a plane full of people who all had the same bright idea to fly home after the weekend. What's the move then, book a 6 AM Monday flight and just accept my fate as a zombie at work?

inThat Tuesday when I broke down a whole steer with a dull knife
Ngl I feel like that "pushing through instead of fixing the tool" thing is just how we live now. Like my phone screen has been cracked for six months and I keep telling myself I'll get it fixed next paycheck but then I just get used to it. Same with my car's check engine light that's been on since last summer. We just accept the extra struggle because stopping to fix stuff feels like a bigger waste of time than fighting through it. But then you finally do fix it and wonder why you put up with the misery for so long.

inFinally caved and tried that LED light therapy mask after a client swore by it for a year
Did you find that skipping one bad habit made it easier to start a new one?
