My nephew did that to me at a family dinner, grabbed my pen and showed me the "proper" tripod grip. He learned it in second grade and was so serious about it. Kids get these rules drilled into them and suddenly we're all doing it wrong. My handwriting is messy but it works for me, been this way since I was his age. It's wild how they watch and copy every little thing, even the stuff we don't think about.

My buddy learned that the hard way too.

Check the output before it goes out. The computer just follows rules, it doesn't spot weird errors. That final human review saves a ton of headache later.
