Plants are tougher than people give them credit for. It probably would have been fine even if you kept watering it weekly. They bounce back from a lot.

The real cost is in the repeat labor, not the part price. A cheap harness that fails just means a tech has to pull the whole panel twice. That downtime math never works out in your favor.

That's a great story. It makes me wonder, what do you think it is about being on a trail that makes us so focused on the miles? Do you think you would have listened to that same advice from someone back home, or did it only hit you because you were already tired and out there?
