Check out 5 Star Tuning . They've been doing this forever and their tunes are rock solid. I've got their tow tune on my Super Duty and it made a huge difference pulling my camper through the mountains. No regen issues or anything weird.

I found it helps to set a flexible range for calories (or just stop counting for a day or two) instead of a single strict number. That way you can listen to your body without feeling like you failed the math test, which is way less stressful.
