Got hit with a $350 surprise fee from my bank last week

I was checking my statement and saw a $350 "account maintenance" fee from Chase on my business account. Called them and they said it was because I didn't keep a minimum $5,000 balance for 3 months straight. Nobody told me when I opened the account last year. Anyone else had random fees like this pop up out of nowhere?

Does your credit union have that text alert thing where they ping you for every transaction over $20? Because I turned mine on after my buddy's debit card got cloned at a gas station pump and they drained his account before he even woke up. He said the bank fought him on it for like two weeks before refunding the money. I swear these places make it so hard to get your cash back even when its clearly not your fault.
