Sympathy flowers stole the show at a product launch
I was setting up for a new product reveal. My assistant grabbed the wrong order from the cooler. We had a bunch of white roses and chrysanthemums out there. The CEO thought it was a statement on product life cycles. Got a lot of questions about our floral choices that day.

Once I mixed up the orders for a client meeting and brought in a bouquet meant for a hospital visit. The client thought we were hinting at their business health, which was kinda true but not how we meant it. I spent the whole meeting trying to explain without admitting my screw-up. Your story makes me feel a little better about my own blunders. At least your CEO found meaning in it, mine just got confused.

Classic. It's funny how often mistakes accidentally tell the truth, @sean_johnson16. Like when you say the wrong name and it turns out you actually prefer that other person. Your hospital flowers giving a business health diagnosis is a perfect, awkward example of that. I've seen it with auto-correct fails in texts that somehow reveal what someone really feels.

Yeah, those slip-ups are telling. Good point, @patricia_black44.
