Rant: I used to hand-write every single order tag for my shop in Austin

I mean, I did that for like 8 years, thinking it was more personal. Then last Valentine's Day, we had over 200 deliveries and I was up until 3 AM just writing addresses. Switched to a basic label printer and a simple spreadsheet system, and it cut my prep time in half. Anyone else make a small change that saved them a ton of stress during a big rush?

Tech is a lifesaver for the boring stuff. Label printers are worth every penny.

My dad got one for his workshop and it changed his life. He used to write on tape with a marker and it was a mess. Now everything has a clean, printed label and he can actually find his tools.

Your dad's workshop must look like a real store now, juliaross. No more guessing which mystery box has the Phillips head.
