Finally got that tricky draft horse in Salem to stand still for a full trim
Used a new calming technique I saw at a clinic, and the owner said it was the quietest he's been in years. What's your go-to method for a nervous giant?

What clinic trick worked for you? I always start with just standing there doing nothing for a few minutes.

Yeah, that standing there thing is real. I'll just stare at the computer screen for a solid five minutes before I even open a file. Sometimes I have to walk to the supply closet and back just to get my brain going. It feels silly but it's like a weird warm-up.
