Why does nobody talk about choosing between keto and paleo for gut issues?
I had to pick between keto and paleo for my bloating last winter, and I went with paleo because I missed fruit too much... three weeks in, my stomach was worse than before because I was eating way too many almonds. Has anyone else found that paleo-friendly nuts actually wreck your digestion?

Wait, have you tried swapping almonds for walnuts or macadamias? I had the same issue with paleo and nuts until I cut back to just a handful of walnuts a day and my bloating finally calmed down. Maybe try cycling different nuts for a week and see which ones hit you harder.

Totally agree on the cycling idea. Took me way too long to figure out cashews were my personal bloat enemy.

Swapped almonds for macadamia nuts and it made a huge difference for me. Had the exact same problem where paleo seemed to be making things worse until I realized it was the almonds causing all the gas and bloating. Cut them out completely and switched to mostly macadamias with some walnuts, and within a week my digestion was way better.
