But sometimes you need that clear cut list to actually see results! A little structure isn't a bad thing, it gives you a solid starting point. If a diet is too loose, you might not change anything at all. A short, strict plan can kickstart better habits and show you what's possible. It's not about forever, it's about learning control. Calling all strict plans a setup for failure just lets people off the hook for trying.
