Just switched my steam towel method after a workshop in Portland

I used to just drape a hot towel over a client's face for extractions, but the instructor showed us how to fold and roll it into a tight cylinder first. It holds the heat way longer and the pressure feels more even, which my last three clients have loved. Do you have a specific folding technique that works best for you?

That rolling method is a total game changer. The folded cylinder shape really does trap the heat better than a flat towel. I got shown a specific tri-fold technique that makes it super dense, almost like a hot little pillow. Clients always comment on how good the pressure feels, especially around the sinus areas. Makes the whole extraction step way more comfortable for them.

Okay, the tri-fold detail is interesting. How exactly do you get that cylinder shape to stay put without it just falling open when you apply it? Is it all in the initial fold, or do you have to kind of tuck it under itself?

Oh wow, I totally used to think the flat towel was fine, nothing special. But then I saw someone do the tight roll and tried it myself, and it's a night and day difference. The heat really does last so much longer, and it just feels more solid and professional. My clients definitely notice it too, they always say how relaxing it is. I'm never going back to the old way, lol.
