Wiring a 1940s house in Denver, I went with armored cable instead of conduit for the first floor.
The BX saved me about 8 hours of labor on that job and the inspector had zero issues with it. Anyone else find certain older methods are actually more practical for specific renos?

That Denver inspector's approval is a solid data point. Honestly, I've seen BX get flagged for bonding in some older jurisdictions. Was there any prep needed on the cable ends to meet local code?

Tbh we had to add bonding bushings on our last retrofit. Denver's been pretty chill about it lately though.
