A guy at the Milwaukee trade show changed how I set up my drawing files

I was showing my typical title block setup, with everything on one layer, to this older drafter from a bridge firm. He stopped me and said, 'Kid, you're making your own life hard. Put your border on a non-plot layer.' I argued with him for a minute, but he pulled up one of his files right there on his laptop. Seeing how clean his sheet sets were when he could toggle the border off for internal reviews totally convinced me. Has anyone else got a simple layer management tip that saved you hours?

That "non-plot layer" trick is a total game changer for sheet cleanup.
