Man honestly how did you even make it 18 years without it failing? My last one started leaking at like 12 years and I had to deal with a flooded basement. Were you just waiting for it to blow up or did you actually have a plan to replace it?

18 years is impressive, but definitely keep a pan and hose nearby just in case.
