Wasted $400 on a fancy divorce mediation app that did nothing
Bought this highly-rated app to help us sort out custody schedules and asset splitting, but it just made everything more confusing between us. Anyone else tried one of those digital tools and ended up back with a pen and paper?

Man those apps always seem way too complicated for something that's already stressful enough. Bet they just add more screens to argue over instead of actually helping you talk things through.

Huh, I actually had the opposite experience with one of those apps. My ex and I used a co-parenting calendar app that kept track of holidays and school breaks, and it cut down on maybe 60 percent of the he-said-she-said nonsense. The trick was we agreed to just use the built-in scheduling and ignore all the chat features. Pen and paper works fine if you both show up in the same room, but when one person travels for work or you just can't stand looking at each other, a neutral digital record has saved my bacon more than once. Maybe it's less about the app and more about setting ground rules for how you'll use it.

Wait, you seriously just changed my mind about those apps, I was totally against them before.
