Serious question, did I get a bad bottle of Method or is Dawn actually better?
I've been a Method guy for years because I liked the mint scent and the look of the bottle. Two weeks ago I had a greasy lasagna pan situation where I scrubbed for 8 minutes and it still felt slick. Swapped to my roommate's Dawn for one wash and the pan came clean in under 2 minutes. Has anyone else had a brand suddenly stop working for no reason?

Did you check if the batch number on your bottle matches any recall lists online?

Maybe try shaking your Method bottle really well before each use. I've noticed sometimes the formula separates and you just end up pumping out watered down soap. Dawn has stronger surfactants that cut grease better on their own, so even a separated bottle of that stuff still works.

Oh man, that reminds me of the time I forgot to shake my laundry detergent and ended up with a mysterious soap-free load - let's just say my clothes came out dirtier than they went in! I'm convinced half my kitchen fails are just me being too lazy to give the bottle a decent shake.
