My Dinner Date Turned Into a Waitress Comedy Sketch

I was at a crowded Italian place downtown last Friday when the waitress tripped and dumped a full plate of spaghetti carbonara right in my lap. She was so flustered she just handed me a napkin and walked off without saying sorry. What’s the weirdest thing a server has done to you on a date?

Spaghetti carbonara in the lap is rough, but at least it gave you a story to tell. My worst was a server who mixed up our orders and then argued with me that my chicken was actually fish. Made me wonder if I was the one who needed glasses, which is probably the real reason I stayed single for a while.

Oh man, that is so insane. I mean she really just handed you a napkin and dipped? I would have been sitting there with pasta dripping off my shirt, too shocked to even form words. The worst I ever got was a server who kept calling me "buddy" while my date was right there - but at least my pants stayed dry. What is wrong with people sometimes, honestly.
