Just noticed my car odometer hit 222,222 miles on my drive home from work

Part of me thinks it's a cool sign to keep driving this thing forever, but another part wonders if it's a warning that a huge repair bill is coming. What would you do if your car hit a number like that?

Ever have a friend who saw a number like that and took it as a challenge? My buddy's truck hit 300,000 miles and he threw a little party for it, like it was a birthday. He drove it for two more years with just normal oil changes, nothing major broke. Then one day the transmission just quit in a grocery store parking lot. He said it was worth every extra mile he got out of it, even with the big bill at the end. I guess it depends on if you feel lucky and really love the car.
