TIL the difference between a good vacuum and a cheap one is more than just the price tag
I spent $80 on a Walmart vacuum last year and it died on me after 3 months. Picked up a used Miele for $120 at a thrift store in Portland last week and it actually picks up the dog hair in one pass. Has anyone else noticed how much quieter the good ones are too?

That whole 'one pass' thing is exactly what I noticed when I finally switched from a cheap Bissell to a used Kenmore canister. It saved me so much time because I don't have to go over the same spot three times anymore. My old vacuum was also super loud and annoying, but the nicer one is way quieter and doesn't wake my kid up from a nap.

Yeah I read some blog that said suction power matters more than price tags.
