My $30 password manager subscription just paid for itself 10x over

I finally gave in and bought a yearly Bitwarden premium subscription back in February. Yesterday I got a notification that someone tried to log into my old forum account from a random IP in Vietnam. Since I use unique complex passwords for everything now, that breach didn't affect any other accounts. Has anyone else had a breach alert like this and actually felt relieved instead of panicked?

Honestly that moment of "oh no" turning into relief is such a real thing. Ngl I had the exact same feeling when I got an alert about someone trying to get into my old email account from Russia last month. Tbh before I got my password manager I would have panicked so hard, changing every password and checking all my bank stuff. But instead I just deleted that old account and moved on. It's like having a solid lock on your front door and someone jiggles the handle - you just laugh because you know they ain't getting in. The peace of mind is actually worth way more than the thirty bucks.

You said "felt relieved instead of panicked" and that actually hits on something most people don't talk about. That split second of "oh no" followed by realizing your password manager did its job is a weirdly satisfying feeling. It's like paying for insurance and then being glad you had it when something actually happens.
