The one Wednesday where every customer actually said thank you and I didn't know how to handle it
I had a shift last month where 8 people in a row thanked me for helping them and I got so suspicious I checked the calendar to make sure it wasn't some kind of prank day, has anyone else ever had a day that was weirdly perfect and then waited for the other shoe to drop?

Yeah, I used to be skeptical too, but that kind of perfect shift actually made me believe in good luck.

I used to roll my eyes at the whole "good vibes only" thing, but then I had a shift like that. Eight straight customers all nice and patient, no one yelling at me over a coupon or a missing soda. Made me think maybe the universe has its moments, even if I'm still waiting for the meteor to hit.

And then you start seeing it everywhere, right? Like you get one good parking spot and suddenly you're noticing every single person who lets you merge in traffic or holds the door a little longer. It's like your brain just needed that first example to prove the pattern exists, even though the bad stuff is still lurking in the background. I swear there's this weird toggle switch in the universe where once you acknowledge the little win, the whole day starts falling in line more often than not. Not saying it's magical or anything, just that maybe we're all too busy bracing for the worst to see how often the good stuff actually sneaks in. It's almost annoying how much one decent interaction can flip your whole mood around.
