A man in line at the hardware store insisted the store's policy was wrong because he read it differently online.
He held up the checkout line for fifteen minutes arguing with the young cashier about a $4.99 return fee, quoting a website he couldn't name, until the manager finally had to step in and just give him the money to leave.

Just let it go and move on. The time you spend arguing is worth way more than five dollars. It's not worth the bad feelings.
