Tried blasting pop through stock speakers vs. spent $150 on used components and the difference was insane.
Swapped the factory door speakers in my 2010 Civic for a set of used Rockford Fosgates I found on Craigslist and now that one synth hook in my go-to track actually hits my chest instead of just buzzing the door panel.

That feeling when a song hits you in the chest instead of just rattling the door is exactly why I'll never go back to stock speakers. So glad you got that upgrade working.

Wait, is that what it's supposed to feel like when the bass doesn't just sound like a tin can filled with angry bees? I've been driving around thinking my door rattles were just the car's way of singing along to the beat. Guess I owe my eardrums an apology for all those years of stock speaker abuse.

Ditch the factory tweeters too, or did you just swap the main speakers? Asking cause I'm wondering if the highs are actually clear now or if they're still fighting through those stock paper cones.
