Heard some guy at a red light say nobody should crank up 'Bohemian Rhapsody' because it's too long for a good car jam
I think the long build just makes the scream-along part hit harder, but then again maybe shorter songs like 'Born To Run' get you more bang for your buck before the light turns green, so what do you do when the chorus peaks right as traffic starts moving?

Aren't you selling the long build a little short though? That quiet piano part is pure gold when you're just sitting there waiting, it builds up this energy that makes the opera section feel like a total release. Like yeah, "Born to Run" gets you there faster, but that's the problem half the time you're done before the light even changes. If I'm stuck for 2 minutes anyway, I want something that takes me on a ride not just a quick burst of chorus. The scream along part hits so much harder when you've been sitting through the whole thing.

Wait, has your friend ever actually tried this? My buddy Dave got stuck singing the opera part at a light and when it switched to "Mama just killed a man" right as he hit the gas, he screamed it so hard he almost rear-ended someone.
