My client called my highlights 'stripes' and she was right
I had this one client back in March who just straight up said my foils looked like racing stripes. I was so mad at first but then I looked in the mirror and she was totally right. I was placing them too uniform and not weaving thin enough sections. Now I do way thinner slices and alternate between fine and medium weaves and my blends are so much softer. Has anyone else had a client call you out on something that actually made you better?

Clients paying for highlights don't get to critique technique unless they're licensed themselves.
