Finally tried the 'just post the opposite of what you think' advice for engagement
My usual detailed posts got maybe 3 likes, but a dumb hot take about pineapple on pizza got 200 replies in a day. Is this really the only way to get people talking online anymore?

Yeah but that's not really the opposite of what you think, it's just being loud. The pineapple thing works because it's a silly fight everyone knows. If you posted something truly wild, like that floors should be installed without any adhesive, you'd just get confused looks from the three people who even get it. The trick is picking the right dumb fight, not just flipping your opinion.

Honestly I tried the floor adhesive thing once and my cat ended up sliding into the wall. You're right, you need a fight people are already having, not just making up new chaos. Guess I'll stick to yelling about laundry folding techniques.
