Am I the only one who thinks the moon landing faking theory falls apart with one simple detail?

I was watching that old Fox News special from the 90s, the one where they go through all the "evidence" the footage was staged. And something really bugged me... they kept pointing out the flag waving, saying there's no wind on the moon so it must be a studio fan. But I looked up the actual NASA reports, and the flag has a horizontal rod to hold it out, and the movement they're seeing is just the astronauts twisting it when they plant it. The National Archives has high-res scans of the Apollo 11 flight logs too, and the times match up with every step they took. It's not like some deep secret... it's right there in the public records. So why do people keep ignoring that one simple fact? Has anyone else actually dug into the original source documents instead of just watching the YouTube clips?

the government has lied about stuff before" so you're saying a whole organized conspiracy got 400,000 people to keep quiet for 50 years but nobody slipped up? That's wild logic.

Oh man, that's the thing with so many conspiracy theories, people latch onto a tiny detail that sounds suspicious and run with it without checking the actual facts. It's the same reason folks insist their neighbor's perfectly normal electrical hum is a secret government signal, the internet just loves a good story more than boring old proof.

idk, I mean, I get what you're saying but I feel like sometimes people have good reasons to be suspicious. Like, the government has lied about stuff before, so it's not like everyone's just making things up for fun. Maybe some folks just need more proof before they trust the official story.
