My old bull float gave out on me right in the middle of a big garage pour
The handle snapped clean off about two hours into the job last Tuesday. I was working on a 24x24 slab out in the county, and it just went. Had to send my helper to the nearest supply house, which was a 45 minute round trip. We kept the edge wet with a sprayer while he was gone, but I was sweating it. Anyone have a good brand for a replacement that can take a beating?

Actually, stuff breaks all the time. We just notice it more when it messes up our plans.
