My brother and I both work offshore, so family gatherings were always a mess. We started using a shared calendar app to block out our rotation dates months in advance. How do your families handle when multiple divers are in the mix?

My 28/28 rotation made it simple, I was basically just gone all the time. We tried the family group text for a while, but my updates were always three weeks late. My system is less "coordinated calendar" and more "surprise, I'm on the couch.

Susana66, that 28/28 rotation sounds simple, but being gone all the time is its own kind of hard. The surprise visits are fun for you, but they can be tough on the family left waiting.
