Check the latest update on that story! It's not as messed up as it seems. The news left out key details, like how the company apologized right away. I saw a follow-up article that explained the whole thing was a mistake in reporting.

In 2023, a local paper in Ohio had to pull five stories because of wrong facts. Reporters often hurry to break news and miss checking things properly. By the time they fix it, lots of people already believe the first version. I saw a similar case where a business lost customers over false reports. The apology never gets as much attention as the original mistake. It makes you wonder if any news is reliable anymore.
