That customer who demanded a shutter fix in 15 minutes flat
Had a guy walk into my bench in Portland last Tuesday and say 'just a quick adjustment' like I was tuning a guitar. He kept hovering over my shoulder while I was calibrating his F2's speeds and I finally had to ask him to wait outside. Anyone else have to kick people out of their workspace just to get a simple repair done?

Just a quick adjustment" yeah that's what every car owner says right before you find three more things wrong with it.

Yeah my buddy said the same thing about his truck needing a "minor fuel pump tweak." Three weekends and a grand later we were basically rebuilding the entire engine bay lol. I've learned the hard way that "quick adjustment" in car language translates to "clear your calendar and empty your wallet." At this point I just nod and hand over my debit card before the hood even pops open. My cars have a way of turning a 30 minute job into a multi week saga every single time lmao.

Tuning a guitar? This guy thinks repairing a shutter is like tuning a string on a ukulele? I'd have asked him if my bench looked like a music store.
