I thought those old camera light meter repair videos were a waste of time.
Turns out the method using a 1.5v AA battery and a multimeter to test a Canon FTb's circuit actually works. Has anyone fixed a meter this way on a different model?

What did you miss out on? I skipped a tutorial once and spent hours trying to fix something simple. Now I just watch the video, even if it seems boring. It almost always saves me time in the end.
