I blew $2k on a fancy business coach who just told me to 'manifest success'
Paid for a whole package upfront and got zero practical advice, just vague motivational quotes. Has anyone found a coach who actually helps with real problems like cash flow?

My old man lost five grand to a guy like that. Look for coaches who have run real businesses, not just motivational speakers. I found a retired restaurant owner who helped me fix my cash flow in two weeks. He charged by the hour and made me show him my books. That accountability was worth more than any quote.

Man, that hits home. My uncle got taken by a "business coach" who just sold him expensive seminars and fancy binders. Didn't know a thing about payroll taxes. Someone who's actually managed inventory and paid staff on a bad week, that's who you need. They ask the hard questions because they've lived the real problems.

Did that retired owner make you bring in your actual profit and loss statements to each session? I had a similar experience with an old freight broker who wouldn't let me talk about goals until I showed him where every dollar went for the last three months. He found five subscriptions I forgot about and a vendor overcharging me by 30 percent. That kind of real digging beats a vision board any day.
